This was the face that greeted me after stealing my seat!
I signed up for 30 days of lists this year. I saw so many wonderful projects resulting from this last year so I was really keen to participate myself this year.
It lead me on a blog-hop... (do you do that click on links and end up in a whole other place since you started??)
I clicked on a really interesting link to the finishing manifesto. It piqued my interest from the tag line immediately:
When are you going to finish what you started?
Yes when am I going to do that? I have a joke in my family that I am terrible at starting projects and never finishing them... I have always been this way it is a flaw in my character. I am pleased to know that I am not the only one with this flaw!
It can be strange how life links to things you end up reading about. I have been reflecting a lot these past few days on finishing because I finished my entire degree this month. I finished placement, I am done. I finished!
I read the manifesto and felt so revitalised. I know sometimes the obvious can stare you in the face but I want to finish all my started projects which I have tired of. I want to be a finisher. I cannot wait to embrace all the tasks and satisfaction of having things done. So here be the place of the finisher.... watch this space!
Do tell, are you a finisher? or do you have crafting unfinished-itus? I love to hear how you stay motivated.
Good luck with your 'finishing' project! I am the opposite of you...I start to hyperventilate if I don't get things finished!
