#11

Alison and Sandra both left me sweet comments about my knitting post.  I am making some tiny cardigans for my new nephews.  My sister in law recently gave birth to my two newest twin nephews.  At 32 weeks they were slightly premature.  They are home now with the family and are in need of some home made goodies :) I am making two identical little cardigans which knit up fairly quickly.

I have to admit it is a little bit of a labour of love :( I have always knitted, it was the first craft my nan taught me as a child so I am attached to the history but I prefer crochet!

I have always loved the look of crochet and longed to be able to crochet.  After a few failed attempts I taught myself.  With some of the gorgeous crochet inspiration out there I embraced the craft whole heartedly.  I love the twirly hook and the finished projects so much.  I cannot resist a project on the go as it is so portable.  I usually have multiple projects which I am working on which is so naughty I know but I cannot resist.  So while I make the little cardigans I have secretly started another project oh my! I must be stopped....

I will be meeting the twins this weekend so I hope I have finished their little cardigans I will keep you posted.

  1. Your new nephews are going to be very lucky in their clothing line :) that's such nice news to hear them home and well. I would love to crochet properly, I took a class one day, but by the time I got the hang of it, it was over. I think I may need to find another.

Looking forward to seeing the finished articles ... Better still being modelled by their owners :)
